Completing my Bucket List

The year so far

Well that’s a third of 2014 almost gone!

In the past four months I’ve completed a few things on my list.  Nothing “BIG” as I’m putting most of the money towards the wedding and big holiday in September.

I’ve seen caterpillars turn into butterflies, started training for a 5k run, seen some Commonwealth water polo, visited a haunted house and searched for ghosts, won the lottery (£20), tried curling, gone 7 days without television, held a snake, gone to burlesque classes, eaten an insect, been featured in two magazines and climbed Bennachie.

But the two I’m most proud of so far are losing 20lbs and starting training for the local roller derby team.

Now the weather is getting better here are some suggestions for some bucket list items you can complete with your friends and family.

  • Go for a picnic
  • Build a sandcastle
  • Enjoy a walk in the country
  • Go camping
  • Go fishing
  • Grow some vegetables
  • Star Gaze
  • Visit a farm
  • Make snow cones
  • Feed the ducks
  • Roast marshmallows
  • Go to the zoo
  • Fly a kite
  • Have a water balloon fight

What have you achieved so far this year? And what do you hope to achieve in the remaining months?
