Completing my Bucket List

Rock Climbing

My husband and I went along to a one hour taster session at our local climbing centre (transition extreme).

Neither of us have a fear of heights so there was nothing holding us back.
I expected to start on a small wall but straight to the fifty footer!!

Half way up I thought I’d have to give up as I just couldn’t find anywhere to put my feet.  But after a bit of encouragement I made it all the way to the top.

Absolutely loved this experience and I’m considering doing my learn to climb course so I can make it a regular hobby.

I’m definitely going to hurt in a few days though but it was worth the pain 🙂

So awesome! I’m glad you had fun. Isn’t the one-hour climb great? It looks like your gym may have higher climbs and they have dinosaur rocks! Mine was more for a work-out gym so it seemed kind of small. They had a lot to offer but it wasn’t as big. I wish I didn’t have a fear of heights and could have been more fearless like you guys and my husband, haha! It would be awesome to make it a regular occurrence; can you imagine your muscles? Yeah, they’ll definitely hurt this week, haha! Great experience!

Some of the walls you have to start off at the bottom and I swear that must take some very big strength. Take your gopro on a head attachment if you get one. I need to get a few accessories for mine so I can do stuff like that. 🙂
