When I came across £50 return flights with Easy Jet to Copenhagen I just couldn’t turn that deal down! I mean £50 doesn’t get you much nowadays. That would be a return taxi to my nearest city, a meal out at TGI’s or a pair of shoes.
When we arrived in the city we took the train to Copenhagen Central Station where we had a 5 minute walk to The Andersen Boutique Hotel, located in Copenhagen’s most hip quarter, Vesterbro. It is only a short walk from Tivoli Gardens and many great places to eat and drink.
Greeted by friendly staff we then headed up to our room (The Princess Room). It was spacious, bright and I’m not joking – had THE comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. If we didn’t have things to see I’d have happily spent the weekend in bed.
The hotel has everything you need for a stay and more. Free Wi-Fi is always a bonus but Free Wine hour between 5-6 PM. I’ve never even heard of that before! Amazing!
A breakfast buffet was included and I made sure to take advantage of being in Denmark and having cheese for breakfast every day, as it’s not something I’d do back home.
You also have the option of “CONCEPT24” where you are able to check out late without paying extra.
The room is yours for 24 hours – If you arrive at 5pm you may keep your room untill 5pm on the day of departure – with no extra charge
Room rates start at 1145 DKK a night.
Check again tomorrow night to read more about my trip to Copenhagen.
I would like to thank the Andersen Boutique Hotel for hosting our stay in exchange for a review. As always, all opinions are my own and include honest feedback.
