I haven’t worn a watch since I was in school. I don’t wear too much jewellery, but when thinking about accessories for College of Wizardry a watch was thing first thing I thought of. I want this to be a weekend where I keep off of my mobile phone, and get fully involved in the event, so a watch is just what was needed to keep track of the time.
With my wooden wand, a wooden watch watch made perfect sense!
JORD make beautiful watches out of many different types of wood. I decided to go for the Zebrawood and Maple.
It arrived all the way from America in it’s very own wooden box! The watch around a cute cushion, with cleaning cloth and instructions also inside.
At just $139, this watch is excellent value for money. The detail that has gone into it, and even the packaging! You can find watches on the JORD website up to $395.
A wooden watch seems perfectly quirky for a wizard, but you don’t need to be a wizard to own one. You don’t see many watches like this, so they totally stand out.
In March next year I’ll be providing updates from College of Wizardry with my watch, where you’ll get to see some fun and interesting images of it in great places (maybe you’ll even see some magic in there too).
I may even make the watch part of the story, maybe it will be able to freeze or rewind time. If you have any ideas for me please get in touch with them.
