Garden Divas – Christmas Gifts

Garden Divas – Christmas Gift

My grandparents grew veg in their back garden, and my parents do the same thing.  So it’s no surprise I would start growing my own when I had my own home.

A few years ago I added a green house into my garden where I started off growing my own chillis.

Every Christmas, small gardening items are appreciate in the family.  So this year I was excited when I came across Garden Diva’s when looking for gardening Christmas gifts.

Garden Divas Ltd is a family business based in rural Hertfordshire and headed by mother and daughter team, Gilly Brown and Katie Nicholl. In the summer of 2007 our first online store was launched dedicated to sourcing a wide range of gardening gifts for women including tools, gloves and accessories, generating a stylish look in the garden. This soon expanded to include items for little gardeners recognising the fact that pottering in a garden is a wonderful activity for both young and old, whatever their ability.

I’ve picked my top five favourites from the Garden Divas website.

We love the gentle shaping of the new Caravan Daisy Garden Tool Apron from Laura Ashley. The apron sits comfortably on the waist allowing for hip movement when enthusiastically gardening. It has 3 large pockets which will hold hand tools, labels, gloves and garden twine so everything is at hand. There is also a metal clip at waist level to secure keys, secateurs or other important items. Good length waist ties.

Add a little Snap, Bang and Pop to Christmas with these colourful Bath Fizzer Crackers. Choose from 3 designs:

This Gardeners Gift Basket makes a gorgeous hamper present for a female gardener. The hand made seagrass container is packed with pampering goodies plus a pair of pretty gardening gloves.  £29.50

Put some Ho Ho Ho into cleaning dirty hands with our Santa Liquid Soap Dispenser. Brighten up your cloakrooms and kitchen and add a bit of festive fun. £6.95

The Spear & Jackson Colours Bypass Secateurs & Mini Snips Set has always proved to be a popular gift for lady gardeners. The useful cutting tools have comfy pink handles and are nicely presented in a gift box.

We have a large Pyracantha shrub at the bottom of our garden so these are absolutely perfect for trimming it back.  And with the bright pink colour there’s no chance I’m going to lose them.
