So let me tell you what I’ve been up to the last few months and why I’ve been super quiet..
For the last few years I’ve volunteered in haunted houses/halloween events. At the beginning of the year a friend and I discussed we should start running our own events instead, so Northern Frights was born.
The year started out small with a few murder mysteries, but with Halloween we went big with 2 large events.
First Carnevil! Partnered with Codonas (the local Carnival), we brought ten nights of horror to over 5000 people in Aberdeen! It included a 24 foot claustrophobia room, spiders, a maze, a chainsaw, and a sh*t load of clowns. We had many people in tears and many couldn’t make it through.
Next, we returned to Haddo House for year four of Haddo House Horror – this year running it. We went with the theme “seven deadly sins” and had 500 victims in one weekend facing our killers.
So yeah… It’s been a crazy year. I’m super chuffed at the whole team in pulling off these 2 events and can’t wait to see what next year brings. If this is only year one, I’m excited to see what we can do next!
I’m keeping this post short just now with more to follow, but to find out more about us, head over to facebook.com/northernfrights.co.uk
