Last year I shared with you my top recommendations for what to buy at Hotel Chocolat. This year is no different, but this time with some new suggestions.
Lets start with the Signature Cabinet
It’s time to throw caution to the wind: show someone how you truly feel with this glorious showcase of more than 100 of our best-loved chocolates. We keep all our working creations in a cabinet just like this in our inventing room, so we know There’s a frisson of excitement that comes with opening every drawer; whether you’re hiding a certain piece of jewellery in one of the apertures or hoping to surprise a group of friends, this spectacular collection never fails to make an impression. At £160 though, this won’t be for anyone.
Next is one of my favourites, Salted Caramel.
The dash of sea salt lifts our beloved caramel chocolate recipe, contrasting elegantly to bring out deep maltiness and notes of dulce de leche. Here we’ve assembled some of your favourites to create the gift of every salted caramel lover’s dreams. Whether it’s their birthday, your anniversary or just because, our elegant boxed selection makes the perfect present for someone special or for yourself! – £25
The Classic H Box – £12.50
We’ve emptied our larder of berries and oranges, nuts and spices to fill our festive trestle table. Tuck in to Christmas treats reimagined, without a mince pie in sight.
New for 2017, our award-winning Treacle Tart recipe: sticky toffee and a squeeze of lemon served in milk, topped with corn flakes for that classic pastry texture. All served in a chocolate pastry case, shaped by our in-house sculptress. Eton Mess gets in the spirit, with a sprinkle of cinnamon in cranberry white. While we raise a glass to the return of Mulled Wine, warming, full-bodied and beautifully spiced.
Here’s to Christmas…
With fun chocolates in many different shapes and flavours, Hotel Chocolat have something for all year round, not just Christmas.
As always I’ll be getting one of the festive slabs in, and may be treating others and myself to some of the above.
