A Month With Diet Chef

For the last month I’ve been trying out Diet Chef – food made easy for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

My favourite from the breakfast choices were the protein shakes and bars.  Super quick and easy to grab on the way to work.

The soup ready to microwave, and just add boiling water pasta posts for lunch meant I had spare time at lunch not having to cook to get on with other things.

At first dinner was the one I struggled to get my head around.  When I saw the expiry dates on then for over a year away, and that they didn’t need to be refrigerated, I wasn’t sure how good the meals were going to be.   The first one I tried was the coconut curry which I wasn’t too fond of, so I was concerned about the rest.  But the more I tried, the more I enjoyed!  My top favourites were the lasagna and mince beef hot pot, which were just like having a fresh cooked meal.

My favourite thing out of all of it had to be the snacks!  The soya potato snacks and microwaved flavoured popcorn really felt like I was treating myself.


Now the outcome!

Week 1 weight loss – 4lbs

Week 2 weight loss – 1lbs

Week 3 weight loss – 2lbs

Week 4 weight loss – 1 lbs

Total weight loss – 8lbs!

My overall thought: 

Diet Chef is super simple to follow.  No weighing out foods, counting calories or anything else that involves hard work. The meals are easy to make and pretty tasty! 3 meals a day and a snack – it’s so simple, and my weight loss for the month proves that it works.

I have a lot of weight left to lose but 8bs is a fantastic start in a month.
