Completing my Bucket List

New York Bucket List

In the short time we had in New York these were the top experiences

1: Go on a pizza tour of Brooklyn with A Slice of Brooklyn12042790_1653284268216948_1566365823653632241_n

2: Sleep No More –  This was one of the most interesting experiences I’ve ever had and I find it so hard to explain what actually happened.  Unlike other shows, Sleep No More is a show that you will experience differently than others.  Everyone wears a mask, and must remain silent through the whole night.  You explore the old hotel, watching the performances you like and following the character you are interested in at that time.  Or feel free to just explore the hotel.  You will get split up from your group, but this is totally worth it as you can meet back at the bar after for some champagne or absinthe and discuss everything you saw.  Some of it is too crazy to mention, and some I’m unsure what I saw.  Make sure you experience this for yourself!

3: The American Museum of Natural History12141654_1653565531522155_8724751758948142874_n

4: Spend some time in Central Park and visit the Alice Statue12107257_1653565808188794_3756812705356782538_n

5: Visit Ellen’s Stardust Diner – A restaurant with singing waiters.  Unlike other novelty places I’ve visited the food here is actually awesome too.12079658_1653565644855477_8759922226177526391_n

6: Go to the top of the Rockerfeller Centre (Top of the Rock)12079194_1653565864855455_4306753904822053130_n

7: The 9/11 Memorial and The One World Trade Centre12079631_1654613858083989_3683973237338332917_n

8: Ripley’s Believe it or Not on Times Square – yes that’s my head in a jar 12036785_1653158428229532_8167611261839197997_n

9: People watch in Grand Central Station11218952_1654613944750647_8024844124015410467_n

10: Spend some time on Times Square – Have a meal, people watch, shop.12088473_1653158188229556_31009133575505282_n

Do you have any other recommendations for things to do in New York?

I’ve been to New York last summer for 4 days for the first time in my life. So I found your blog post really nice and interesting! 🙂
I’ve written a similar post on what to see and where to go a couple of days ago:
Hope you’ll find it interesting too! Leave a comment if you like it. We have just started and we need help to grow a little.
    Thanks a lot,
